PAMPELLE 

Made from hand picked grapefruits from the sun drenched, French island of Corsica, which is nestled in the idyllic Mediterranean Sea, Pampelle is a complex aperitif. The hero of Pampelle is the Star Ruby Red Grapefruit that is responsible for its sweetly bitter disposition.

PAMPELLE IS DISTILLED IN THREE STEPS:

  • Grapefruits are halved and macerated at length until full extraction occurs.
  • To enhance the natural citrus aromas, a portion of the grapefruit maceration is distilled through copper stills.
  • The rubies are pressed and reduced until they become a deep, velvety red.
    Batches are blended with tree bark quinine, natural Gentian bitters and a signature Eau-de-Vie, made from grapes that have been fermented and distilled.

TASTING NOTES

Light, refreshing yet complex. Bright ruby red with the bittersweet taste of the ruby red grapefruit. Follows through with light to medium bodied, semi-sweet grapefruit and herb flavours. Ends delicately bitter with a citrus peel-fresh and engagingly long aftertaste.

    Combine 2 tots Pampelle with 100ml premium tonic water and garnish with
    a grapefruit wedge.

    PAMPELLE SPRITZ

    Combine 2 tots Pampelle with 75ml Prosecco or a sparkling wine and top with soda water.
