At Baluarte Tequila, our story is deeply intertwined with the land that nurtures our agave and inspires our craft. It all begins in the birthplace of tequila: the Highlands of Jalisco.
For us, terroir is more than a concept; it’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to authenticity and quality. Our tequila embodies the spirit of this cherished land, handcrafted in small batches using 100% Agave Tequilana Weber Blue Variety. Baluarte is translated as ‘stonghold’ and is meant to invoke the protection of something precious; in this case, the tequila itself.
VARIANTS
Blanco – Sweet with overtones of vanilla and caramel.
Reposado – Chocolate and honey overtones. Slightly spicy with a caramel-kissed profile.
Anejo – Rich smoky, sweet flavour with caramel, vanilla, banana, oak and cherry.
